OK, we have all heard of the wireless radio, but did you ever stop to think where it all began? Lets go back to 1918, the year that the very first wireless radio message was sent from Britan to Australia. Sir Ernest Fisk, received it in his very own home in Wahroonga , Australia, working for a company called Marconi. In 1906, he joined the Marconi training school, all through 1909 he worked tirelessly. In 1910, eight years befor the message was sent, he visited Australia for the first time on busines. He returned to Australia in 1911. In september 1918 he arranged for the transmission of messages to Australia from the prim minister W.M Hughes and sir Joseph Cook, and and established that a direct wireless communication between Britan and Australia was practicable, And yes, it was done, Ernest Fisk received a footnote in history.
